    Y580 wifi reception?

    I've noticed that my Y580 has worse wireless reception compared to other laptops around my place. My girlfriend's HP which is about 4 years older than the Y580 will get full bars when she's a couple of rooms away from the router (approx. 25 -30 ft) and I lose 2 bars given the same distance. Her wireless card is also single band, but an older Intel model.

    I checked the forums at Lenovo and some other users have also reported poor wireless performance, so I wanted to guage and see how experiences have been with the Y580's wireless?
