I see some of the newer Lenovo models come with ExpressCache technology for caching. My lenovo came without mSATA drive, but I installed one myself (64GB). RapidDrive seems like a pain in the and I do not want to go with the pain of reinstalling, resizing...so I was thinking maybe I could just install ExpressCache. Has anybody tried this? do you need to pay for the SW? how is the performance? is OKR still usable? Thanks in advance

Thank you very much. Have you tried this yourself? and if so, what is your experience with it?

re-quoting myself. I just followed those steps and my y580 is performing really fast, not full SSD-like but I have to admit it is performing much faster than with regular HDD. I am happy with my decision, you guys should try it.
