Hoping to find some information for what this update does?

    Listed features:

    1. Add recovery mechanism for VGA throttling Power DC protection.
    2. [Fix]Unit can't flash crisis BIOS and CrisisPSW BIOS.
So I noticed I used to be able to use MSI Afterburner to set a custom Voltage/Frequency curve for my RTX 2070 max-q.
Now there are no bars to set in this window.
Will #1 above resolve this issue?

If not please describe what #1 above actually does.

#2 above I am just lost, are those custom bios's?
Do those have to do with the advanced tab in bios?

    Has anyone upgraded yet?
Did the gpu power limit change?
    Did any bios options change?

Is there any risk to upgrading? If I font like it I can back flash if I have a copy of the 1.07 bios correct?
How do I get a copy of my current bios?

    Thanks in advance yall!!

In Afterburner the voltage/freq curve worked for me on 1.06 and it seems to still work on 1.08, can someone else also confirm it's borked in 1.07?

I assume Crisis and CrisisPSW BIOS are their own internal recovery BIOS tools.

I haven't checked the power limit, or the BIOS options yet.

Anyone find any benefit to this update?

Have u been in the bios to see the options?

I looked in the BIOS, doesn't seem to be any new options, though they literally just put out a new 1.0.9 BIOS today which has some updates to FN+Q and security fixes.
That may have some changes, I will update and test.

Generally you should update your BIOS when you can if it's got bug or security fixes, if it's just feature updates then it's up to you whether you want to update.

Have you been able to tell a difference between old FN+Q and new FN+Q?
