    YawCam Webcam software for T61

    I see a bunch of people asking what type of software they can use to access the webcam on their T61. Well instead of me keep teling people I'll make a thread. I have had success using http://www.yawcam.com. It is a nice piece of software and works quite well wit the integrated camera.

    Use this software called Creative Webcam...it is truly awesome....it has a motion sensor thing ...so if you set it...and you walk away from your computer...and some other guy decides to check out your comp....it will automatically record it ...almost like a security camera.....you can set the specs for low or high sensitivity....and what field of view to focus the motion sensor on.....truly awesome!

    unfortunately, i do not. it came with a createive webcam i pruchased over a year ago, may you can go to the creative site and download it from there? if not i may be able to make an .iso of the disc and send it to you somehow

    Would it be possible to post the version info? I tried downloading one of their software programs and it wouldn't recognize the integrated camera. Thank you.

    I just wish YawCam would allow you to capture and save video to disk in a common file format. Also, I am hoping it is just due to the YawCam software, but it doesn't do a real good job with exposure or colors compared to what I get from other webcams.

    i also noticed a yellowish tint with yawcam, while other software shows it more clearly
