Awesome, thank you for the info!!

I'm surprised Lenovo hasn't hyped this up more... with the OG Yoga, they announced and showed it off in January when it wasn't released until the following October (2012).

Np. Totally forgot I was subscribed to that thread, haha.

That's a good point. It's probably to avoid cannibalizing the sale of the Yoga 13, which even though was a top product, still probably has lots of units left. We are the few consumers that even know major under-the-hood improvements are coming in this year's new laptops within a few weeks.

The original Yoga was revolutionary, so all hype is good hype. Now, the Yoga 2 and the original Yoga are essentially competing against each other.

Since Haswell Thinkpads are coming in October, this might mean that a Haswell Yoga will be released with them, especially since the Haswell Y-series CPUs, which have been semi-confirmed to be in the Yoga, are being released this month.

Speaking of Yoga, they should totally implement that double Hinge on the X1 Carbon Touch successor.

Buckle your seatbelts, guys! :D I imagine we will be seeing a DELUGE of notebooks within the next few days. Here's to hoping the Yoga 2 comes out on top.

But, DON'T get too hopeful. Tech does that to people. It's not like they discovered the holy grail. It's just an iterative cycle...the laptop should be great, but expect real and disappointing flaws.

Less than three hours to go!

    Exciting news!!

I´m very confused with twitter, never use it, but I think this guy has pretty "up to date" news what happens at the Lenovo stand: https://twitter.com/CollChris

He says to expect something in 1 hour.... 59 minutes an 59 secs... and counting

I have been having a bad mood cos I want to spend the money I transferred to my paypal account!!!! Anybody having the same problem?

I dont care about anything but better battery and good wifi and the Yoga 2 will be IT for me! A one of a kind!

    Cheers

    O M G...

"Four new products are being made available today.

The Yoga 2 Pro - 13 inches with a QuadHD+ Display (3200×1800 Pixel). It's 10% lighter than the last Yoga, and has nine hours of battery life.

It has the same 360 degree flip and fold design as its predecessor.

Has new software - including Yoga Picks which suggests app purchases. It's also voice controlled , and some apps will have motion control.

It will be available in October for 1,299 euros."
