    Yoga 900, i7-6560U, Intel Iris graphics 540, 16GB RAM, 500GB PCIe SSD.

Lenovo upgraded the Yoga 900 to the specs above and I bought one (Clementine Orange).

Likes: Super fast (seriously...it's really fast), laptop/tablet modes, battery time is good, thin, rather light weight, screen colors are good.

Dislikes: The screen resolution (3200x1800) sometimes is a problem. It causes some fonts to be VERY tiny and unreadable. Some pages have a hard time rendering or they render incorrectly. The screen brightness/contrast is not great. It's not bad, but it could use some improvement.

Other: Some other reviews state that the keyboard keys are "mushy". Maybe they are a bit, but it doesn't bother me. I bought the sleeve and matching mouse, I like both of them. However, the touch type wheel on the mouse is a bit slow.

    How are the temps?

    Is the bottom aluminum?

What kind of battery life do you get when surfing the web (youtube included)?

    Thanks!

The top and bottom are made of a magnesium alloy. I would say I get about 7 hours out the battery.

Well, there seems to be a debate going on: Lenovo states that the case is an aluminum/magnesium alloy. However, owners are reporting that it's actually plastic. This was discovered when some owners removed the case. I'm not going to remove the case on mine, but I'll inspect it this evening.

the shell for the case is plastic....there might be aluminum under the shell for structural stability but there's some flexing in mine. I'm getting 6-8hrs depending on what I'm doing with mine. The QHD+ screen looks great for watching movies, but for everything else it really depends if the app handles DPI scaling well. I RDP into Win 7 hosts frequently which looks like crap, RDCMan helps a with the DPI scaling but i'm wondering how much worse the 1080P panel would be for image quality. The keyboard is a bit mushy compared to my old ASUS ROG, but it's something you get accustomed to within a week or so. I still haven't figured out the touchpad which IMO is a bit "touchy"/"oversensitive" depending on how your touching it.
