I just got a yoga 13 yesterday, and so far I think it's pretty nice. I'm coming from an 11" laptop, so I really appreciate the bigger screen and the keyboard, though as a tablet I have to admit its a bit unwieldy. Maybe I'll get used to it, or maybe I'll end up with a Yoga 11s when it comes out, who knows.

Anyway, I've read about some adjustments and upgrades that can be made - I've updated my touchpad driver, optimized my power settings, and will probably do the touchpad driver swap today or tomorrow to get the three-finger/four-finger functions. I'm holding off on hardware upgrades like an extra SSD for now, until I figure out whether this will be my primary machine or just my road PC.

Are there other upgrades that are worth doing, either software or hardware? Any "tips and tricks" for getting the most out of the Yoga?

    I'll get things started:

Driver update (latest driver solves interface bugs)

Driver hack (allows advanced gesture control with trackpad) - hat-tip @djkmnop

Disable touchscreen timeout (fixes problem of having to swipe twice to bring up charms if you haven't touched the screen in awhile) - hat-tip @BillyTT
