you must have the nvidia graphics. i have the integrated solution and i scored a 3.4
-
What are your specs? -
T7500 2.2GHz
2GB DDR2 667MHz
Nvidia QUADRO NVS 140M 128mb (dedicated, really it uses up to 879mb ram)
Hitachi 60GB 5400 rpm
It is the Nvidia GPU and next to top of the line CPU that bumps up my specs.
-
Interesting my Gaming Graphics is higher yet I have the same spec system. -
Have you updated to latest drivers?
-
X61s
I think there's something wrong with the X3100 64-bit drivers.
-
Kind of topic, but:
StevelSol I am guessing you have the regular WXGA screen while KnightUnit, you have the WXGA+ screen.
Why am I asking?
Quite frankly I haven't received mine yet and I don't know the difference. -
Yes as Sig WXGA+
-
What have you ordered flight 24?
-
Lenovo Thinkpad T61: 14.1" WXGA+ 1400x900 | Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 2.0Ghz | 2GB PC-5300 DDR2 RAM | 100GB 7200rpm HD | X3100 Intel Graphics card |Vista Home Premium
-
Yes I guess its easy to clearly see that he has more screen real estate than my measly 1200 x 800 ay?
-
what inch and resolution screen is that?
-
I'm pretty sure your vista score is simply the lowest scoring component...not an average or anything like that.
It's his Nvidia graphics holding him back from a higher score. -
"Base score: 4.0
Determined by lowest subscore."
So yes! -
JabbaJabba ThinkPad Facilitator
You think?
I think I recall you getting 3.5 in Vista 32bit.
My result (ThinkPad X61) is attached.
As for the Windows Experience Index in general, I'd advise people to take the results with a grain of salt.
I have seen cases where it awards higher scores for the harddisk based on greater capacity, rather than speed. For example a 4200 RPM harddrive with 200GB could score higher than a faster 5400RPM 120GB drive even though it is significantly slower in i.e. Sisoft Sandra and HD tune. -
What're the disk scores for the 7200 drives? I have a 5400 and I'm getting 4.9, but it's a brand new 160GB perpendicular drive
-
The harddrive is not perfect. I'd like to have a hitachi 7K200.
But, I have no idea how to get a Hitachi 7k200 SATA(3Gb/sec) Version instead of SATA(1.5 Gb/sec). Can anyone help me? -
merlin is that the nVidia 540M??
-
Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 2.0Ghz
2GB PC-5300 DDR2 RAM1
80GB 5400rpm SEAGATE HD
nVidia Quadro NVS 140M
Vista Home Premium -
Given the consistency I've seen in T61p scores, I think that's the Quattro m570 256MB.
-
Agree, those scores are almost identical to mine, though my HDD gets a 5.4 (7k200). I will fire it up and check the model number, but I am reasonably sure it is the SATA 1.5 model.
Edit: Updated score to 5.4. -
I got the 7k200 and I am getting a HDD score over around 5.4. I will run it again and post the screen shot later.
-
It is a 14" wxga.

May I ask you where you got your 7k200? -
Yep, I am too. My bad. My memory score is 4.8.
Hitachi HTS722020K9SA00, which I am pretty sure is SATA-150. -
Mine is from ZipZoomFly.
HTS722020K9SA00 -
I got my from zipzoomfly.
The item # is 10005818
