Just found this pdf file online. It includes the sytem configs of all thinkpads including the newly released Z series.
http://www5.pc.ibm.com/us/me.nsf/LenovoInfo?OpenAgent&key=Thinkpad+Literature&&cntry=US-L#Data Sheet
and scroll to the Personal Systems Reference section, then load the tabook.pdf file.
Why the heck is the MaxBright option only available with the top of the line config? (titanium lid, 1gig ram, dvdrw, fingerprint sensor, bluetooth...). I don't need all of these options, just the MaxBright!

awesome, thanks for the link
uhh, no comment on the option availabilities, I love ThinkPads but I don't argue that buying them in the config you want is easy. -
does anyone know when the z60m's with the mobility radeon x600's will be available? i see a config with it in that pdf but the only ones available to order just have the intel graphics!

I remember seeing somewhere that it would be another month before the x600's will become available. (Mid to end of October?)

Oct. 11th is what they're saying
