Z60M 6-cell/9-cell battery trade?

I currently have a 9-cell battery that does not suit my needs (I need to carry the computer regularly and in a backpack, rather than leaving it on my desk or carrying it in a messenger bag).

If anyone currently has a 6-cell and is considering buying a 9-cell, I have a proposal: If you can go without your battery for a couple of days, we could swap batteries by mail. Depending on our proximity, we could most likely find a cheap, safe, quick mailing method. Given the $40 difference in the cost of the batteries, I'm hoping the other party will cover the shipping (which would, of course, be well under that cost).

no offense to you... but this sounds too good to be true and it might be why you havent gotten a response yet... looks like a scam

 

Not really, drops the weight by almost an entire pound, and some laptops couldn't be configured without it. Some people just dont like the 9 cell.

 

Well, it's definitely not a scam. I haven't posted in a while, but I'm a well-established member of this forum, with a number of members who can vouch for my character to some degree. I also have a 100% positive feedback rating on eBay as a seller (same username).

To be honest, I had given up on this and have since bought a 6-cell. However, if anyone is interested, I still have the battery. It's basically brand new, and I'd still be willing to make the trade. Just let me know.

Edit: I'd pay for my outgoing shipping. If anyone knows whether or not this is the same battery as that used by the Z61, I'd be interested to know; if so, I'd be fine trading for the Z61's 6-cell, as well.
