I'm a new owner of a z60m. I love it and am glad I returned my T43 in every single way to get this new laptop. The Z60M is not as goliath as I thought it would be, it's very similar to an E1505.

    There's just a minor quirk:

I happen to type very fast, and the laptop loves to beep at me whenever I click 3-4 keys at approximately the same time. Is there any way to increase the allowable keyboard strokes per second to avoid this problem?

The beep is extremely loud and irritating. It beeps at an all out full volume although the sound level may actually be set pretty low.

    Thanks for the help.

Perhaps turning off something in sound properties like beep on error.
