I dowloaded and installed the latest ThinkPad Access connection software, and now my wireless will not work. I cannot get the wireless radio to power on, although the idiot light is on, and attempts to remove and reinstall have proven fruitless. Lenova suggests that "I should buy a new laptop". Any suggestions? Help in releoving this would be appreciated.

Which operating system do you have?

Does your wireless work when using the default windows wireless manager?

I am running XP SP2. I have changed the settings in the networking area for Windows to manage my wireless, the network is visible, however Access connection will not allow me to connect.

You can delete through the device manager.

You cant use both. Use only one or the other. They (Access Connects/Windows) will fight each other the way your trying to connect.
