Allrite, Finally I got my baby...
I found couple wired things w/ this new machine.
First of all, sometimes, the screen would flash...like a blink...and this afternoon, the screen went to "totally blue" for no reasons.
and I cound out that CD rom, where you unlock the the device...there's a gap between...it's hard to describe...maybe i could upload a picture later on.
Plus, sometimes CD rom would screw up...couldn't play CDs..like seems like it has scretch...but actually it's a new CD...
I don't know if anybody found any problem for this new machine...or like same problem as mine...:buyIBM:

well, screen flashing should never be noticeable on an LCD display so whatever you're seeing there is bad -- blue screen means the OS crashed which is of course bad too. Also, if you're seeing a gap between the drive and the case and it's really noticeable then it could be the machine has been put together badly -- this would explain the CD not playing. My co-worker has a ThinkPad T40 that just stopped playing DVDs and we're pretty sure it's because something came loose in the chassis, he bought a new DVD drive and it's still not playing DVDs. I'd call IBM and try and get a return on this T43, sounds like a lemon and certainly not what you'd expect or should get from this machine.
