Howdy folks. Well this is a new one. I insert my SD card into the slot, use it then go to pull it out, and nada. It clicks like its going to release, but doesn't. I ended up taking pliers to it and pulling it out; now the slot is totally jacked (won't click anymore). I've used this card many times before in this slot, the card fits fine in a few other devices I've tried, and two different cards have the same problem in the slot... all this convinces me its a slot issue.

Anyone had a similar problem? I just filed a service request online... I'm hoping they come out or send me parts; I can't afford to be without my lappy for a few days.

Did it go in smoothly and click when you first stuck it in? I know that sometimes the card didn't align perfectly in mine, and if it was forced something might have happened. I was clicking it in and out at light speed one night because I was having some odd software issues with my card not initializing for me. the slot still functioned fine though..
