    AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I was just using my z60t and the screen blacked out for no reason... I was using the internet to check my e-mail and wasn't doing anything terribly strenuous for the computer and the screen went black. I tried moving the mouse, pressing on the keyboard... nothing. I had to reboot and now it seems like it's working ok, but should I send this thing in to be checked out?!

    What is going on?!?!?!?!?!?!

Computers re-boot sometimes. If it starts to happen more often then I would be concerned.

My computer didn't reboot, actually. The screen just went blank but the computer didn't shut off - it looked like it just had a blank screen saver except pressing the keys or clicking the mouse didn't do anything. And I was in the middle of using it so it shouldn't done that in the first place...

I'm just worried because this hasn't happened to any of the other laptops I had before and this baby has to get me through three years of law school... :p It seems to be working fine today though, which is good.

There is a defect with one of the sensors in the LCD. You have to call Lenovo back and keep bugging them until:
    a) they send you a new one
    b) they fix it for you (though, I haven't heard of a fix yet)

I've seen this happen a couple of times on the Z60t series.

Unless it happens more often don't worry, may have been a windows glitch which are oh so common.
