    Z61e vs R61i and R61e

    Can anyone explain the significant differences between these three machines?

    The Z61e and R61e should be very similar. They are both 15.4" widescreen notebooks, and I believe that the optical drive is built in (at least on the R61e). In addition, they lack the touchpad (thus, they only come with a TrackPoint).

    The R61i seems to be the same as an R61, save for the fact it uses slower processors from the T5xxx series (they're still Core 2 Duos). You can't, however, configure an R61i with a discrete video card, if that's what you're looking for.
