This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Looks like z61m is discontinued. Do they have a replacement? I really liked the feature set...

    webcam
    s-video out
    firewire
    card reader

    Do they have another model with that stuff?

    indeed the z61m is discontinued...and a shame too...the closest thing is the t60 w/s...but that's gonna add to the cost, without giving you everything you want...but your other option is to try and find somewhere that still has a few in stock and try and get it cheap

    Check the For Sale forum or eBay for a new or used one or you might find a vendor that still has some in stock. I have one to sell that was used 4-5 months and it's pretty well loaded except for the webcam.
