Still doing my reserach on the z61m and now looking at the R-series....

The Z61m comes with two 512 chips, the bastards!!!! Hate when they make you throw away memory like that.

Can I get a single 2gig memory chip and put it in the notebook, or do I have to go 1gig plu 2 gig.

Is it both slots or nothing?

Good sources for memory at good prices?

    Thanks, getting there decision wise....
