This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Still doing my reserach on the z61m and now looking at the R-series....

    The Z61m comes with two 512 chips, the bastards!!!! Hate when they make you throw away memory like that.

    Can I get a single 2gig memory chip and put it in the notebook, or do I have to go 1gig plu 2 gig.

    Is it both slots or nothing?

    Good sources for memory at good prices?
