I have checked out lenovos website..and found that for the T60 and T61 model those carrying vista business or ultimate, get to have the option of downgrading to XP.

I have been looking at some Z61 models but most have vista business on them. Is it possible to also get a downgrade from vista to XP?

If not then...does Vista work well AutoCAD, Timberline, and Primavera Project Planner/Expedition? Thanks.

I'm sure you can downgrade to XP fine as they have the XP drivers on the Lenovo site: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-64278

If you choose to downgrade, the guide in my signature will help you through the process.

For the Vista information, you'd have to wait for someone else more knowledgable about Vista and software to reply as I am using XP currently.

    Good luck! :)
