I have the screen brightness level on 4 out of 7. There's noticeable light leakage at the bottom edge of the screen. The lower left and right corners where the XP Start button and the clock are appear somewhat darker. This blotchiness is very pronouned when the background is white. Is this normal with matte TFT screen (1280 x 800 resolution)? Thanks!

Is glossy screen the only way to avoid such blotchiness? Or can I get a better looking screen on a different ThinkPad model? Thanks!
