First problem I've run into with my z61m, c2d purchased end of October 06. In my office, the unit is docked and hooked to my network via cable. At the end of the day, I shut down and remove it from the dock.

When I bootup at home without a dock, it locks up with after the fingerprint is accepted during the windows xp loading screen. I then do a hard reboot and it's fine shutting down and rebooting...until I dock again. it's 100% consistent.

Any ideas where to start looking? I can't find a way to log what is happening during the bootup, but figure a log of that might show what device is hanging up.

    Thanks for the help,

    Mark
