I've noticed on the Lenovo website, the Z61m's memory configurations are somewhat limited. There's no option for anything more than 1gig and it doesn't say whether it's on 2 sticks or 1.

Does anyone have any information on this?

All the memory configurations are for 1 stick. You can only configure 1gb because the max the system can take is 2gb (1gb in each slot). If you want more, you can configure it with 1gb and then add more, which might have to be done through 'accessories'. I would order ram through someone like newegg, though, because it is much cheaper. I ordered my t43 over the phone, I thought it was easier that way.

The Z61m review unit I have from Lenovo uses both slots. There is a picture showing the memory slots under the touchpad.
