I have a z61M on order, received the Serial ATA Hard Drive Adapter #40Y8725. I am trying to install a Hitachi HTS721010G9AT00 100GB 7200RPM drive, it does not appear to be able to mount. Do I have the wrong drive/bay adapter?

I think you have an IDE Hitachi 100GB 7200rpm. The adapter is for Serial ATA.
