    Hey Guys,
I want to place an order for a Z61t. But the option in canada only comes with integrated intel GMA 950.
Does anyone know for a fact if this will work with vista aero?

I just answered this, but yes, I know for an absolute fact it works.

Go look for my thread in the dell forum on this site. I'm running it as we speak on Vista Ultimate RTM.

It works perfectly, but some more intensive operations seem a bit sluggish e.g. Windows+Tab for the 3D alt-tab while running a visualizer inside WMP.

Does it affect battery life much?

Does the battery-meter software from thinkpad work in vista?

Was a bit surprised when I played a litle TrackMania and saw that it only took 14W (x60s) so the GMA 950 might be quite cool during load as well.

I have heard it does affect battery life. I suppose the lost battery life could vary but I'd assume maybe a 30 min drop if any? (Uneducated guess)

Yeah, it's bound to affect the battery life. And could probably vary quite a bit between graphic cards.

If the battery-software from lenovo works in vista one could make an half-accurate test.
