My Intel 3945ABG card appears to have a mind of its own.
When I first received the laptop I was travelling and only connected to open networks with no problems.
However since returning to the office and home I am having all sorts of issues with either the network not being detected at all or not authorising when I request connection.
Is this just because of the intel card or is there more to it?
I am getting very frustrated not being able to connect to my office and home network and having to reboot 2-3 times with no result?

    Thanks in advance...

Have you tried updating/ or uninstalling and reinstalling the Intel Pro Wireless drivers?

I have tried re-installing the drivers and I can now see networks. However when I enter the security details (128bit Wep) I always fail association.

I cannot work out if its Vista, the card or ThinkVantage Access Connections that is causing the issues?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

There are some power management issues in XP but I haven't heard anything about Vista as yet. See the threads around about 'wirelsss hibernation' for details on that.
