Hi,

Is it worth investing additional 30 bucks for 7 cell battery? I know that there will be some improvement in battery life but do we need to compromise on weight and looks ?

Can I know if it is 7 cell battery is it hard to carry? Do anyone of you have pics of 7 cell battery Z61t laptop ?

Any other major advantages / disadvantages ?

4 CELL

It will be a little heavier but you bought a laptop for portability--why not get the extra battery life? I would do it in a heartbeat. However if you will be plugged in all the time perhaps the 4 cell would suit you just fine.

My z61t came with the 4 cell battery. Because I use this laptop at home, I always use it with the maximum performance power setting. With the screen at max brightness, WiFi on and a lot of browsing I was able to get around 2 hours of battery life. The AC adapter is one of the smallest I have seen for a laptop which is good.

If you travel I suggest that you get the 7-cell battery. The longer battery life is worth the added weight in my opinion.
