    Z710 Hard drive caddy issues

    My wife has a new Z710 and I swapped out the optical drive for a hard drive caddy. I reformatted a hard drive and installed the caddy. When I power-up the laptop I keep getting a boot loop with the Lenovo splash screen. I checked the boot sequence and the C drive is first on the list so it should boot from there.

    I have done this on two other laptops (not Lenovo) without any issues. Is there something bizarre with Lenovo that I am not aware of? Is there some sequence or setting change that I am missing?
