    Thanks, but the question remains:

    Will ZeroShock III 12-Inch fit X200 w/9cell?

The 13inch one just seem a little big to me:

    X200 w/9cell: ...........................................(W x D x H): 11.6 x 1.5 x 9.2 inches
    ZeroShock III 13-Inch: Interior dimensions (W x D x H): 12.4 x 1.6 x 9.3 inches
    ZeroShock III 12-Inch: Interior dimensions (W x D x H): 11.4 x 1.6 x 9.4 inches

Look at the width. the x200 is 11.6 and the 12inch is 11.4. You answered your question yourself with the dimensions. It is snug in the 13inch. And these sleeves aren't THIN. They have great padding.

Well...I have a 12 inch zeroshock with an x200s and a 9 cell and it fits, albeit very snugly.

way to snug... i gave it enough force on the zipper that i feel comfortable doing for millions of times and i couldn't get it to close... i could imagine if i put in more force but 1) i would break my friend's zeroshock 2) in the long run it'll wear and tear too fast..

BTW he said x200s...isn't it SLIGHTLY thinner? And in the case of extremely snug that matters.

i have the 13" zeroshock for my x200 w/ 9-cell battery. to me, it fits right. it looks like it's bulging, but then i know it fits nicely. the sleeve itself is wider than the notebook, but my notebook doesn't move an inch when the sleeve is closed.
