I just installed ZoneAlarm Antispyware (Version 7.0.408.000) on my T60 (WinXP Pro XP2). Shortly after everything was done I sent the laptop to hibernation, then when I tried to start it up the problem emerged: on the screen it first asks for finger print, I scan my finger, a window pops up saying that " There was a problem connecting to a critical service. It is possible that anti-virus or firewall is blocking the connection. Also check to make sure that the TPM device is installed and enabled". After clicking on "OK", it'll ask for finger scan again and then show me the same error message over and over. The only thing I can do is to force shut off the computer and restart it, everything will be normal. I have also tried to make the computer sleep and turn it back on, the same story.
In ZoneAlarm I have enabled all ThinkVantage programs but still it didn't help. Anyone has any idea?

I am getting the same error message. I also have a T60 Thinkpad. However,Zone Alarm is not the firewall that is set up on the computer. I believe that Windows is the firewall. Would like to hear what others have to say. Wigner, your problems might be unrelated to Zone Alarm.

I have the same problem. I have Agintium Outpost installed and the CSS program is able to load and the warning at startup doesn't appear only if the outpost service isn't running.

The problem is that I don't want to remove the firewall because its a firewall and its important. Same with the OP's case. I would like to make a custom rule to allow a CSS or TPM program or port or address or both through the firewall so this problem is done. Does anybody have that information?
