I want to add 512M memory to my T43. The product of PNY seems very cheap, but i don't know much about the quality and compatibility of PNY's DDR2 memory.
Does anyone have used it. tell me about it.
    Thanks alot.

As long as it is the right speed, you should be in good shape.

Right now with the price scale, 1 gig of pc 4200 is only like 15 bucks more than a 512 stick (around 59 bucks for 1gb).

    Thanks.
Will two channels of memory really bring great improvement to T43?

You will not notice the dual channel or DDR2 enhancement because adding more Ram will speed up the computer so you won't be able to tell the advanctages of the DDR2. You will see a dramatic improvemnt!

You will see no improvement with dual channel memory. The acutal improvement is .000000001%

Ram is ram. As long as you get a 1GB stick of DDR2 PC4200 533mhz you are set. Get the cheapest stuff you can find. The best prices for ram can be found at newegg.com

I added 1GB of the transcend junk. The ram has been working perfectly for 4 months now.
