The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i want to buy a thinkpad from this site ,but it requires me to send photocopies of my id card and credit card(both sides),i feel very risky about this ,but i really want to buy from this site,.anyone who knows how to avoid sending them my creditcard photocopies and if i really want to buy a thinkpad from them?i just feel very riskey...

    Just give them a call, they will ask you some more info and you won't have to send anything.
