Hi guys , good evening ,

Sorry to barge in like this about but I have a question about a new laptop that I bought a couple of days ago.
It's the Levono 3000 N100 0789 A66 (Celeron Model) ... The guy at the shop turned in on for the first time and I saw Windows vista compete its installment.
Everything checked out OK , but when I tried it again at home, there wasn't ANY SOUND coming from the Notebook , speaker nor headphone.

I assume all drivers where installed and they seem to be, so why aren't I hearing anything. I'm sure it's just something stupid on my part. Volume Control in Vista is visible and adjustable , but you don't here the beep sound when you move the slider. Also movies don;t have their sound. In system manager, there are no problems and no exclamation marks at the sound section.

I even went to the levono drivers section and got the realtek driver they had posted there for this model. but still no sound.

I am unexperienced using notebooks, so it must be something I am overlooking , but can't find out what it is. I have also pressed the volume buttons on the notebook itself , but that just lets the volume control slider up and down.

Please help out if you know how ,

    Thanks a lot

    R.
