Never been a fan of it, always had problems in the past. But the latest AC release have been solid on my XP SP3, until a week ago when I no longer get automatic connection upon windows login. Can't find where I would check this options, and now I have to manually connect everytime I start Windows. Any suggestions where to enable this option?

I had the same issue with my Access Connections from the start. I would have to switch over to allow Windows to handle wireless, and each time at boot up Access Connections would revert back to default which was very annoying.

A member on here suggested that I go into Access Connections and delete all Location Profiles and leave the added networks in Windows wireless. I did this and now my T400 connects to wireless directly through Windows but I still have Access Connections so I can turn on/off Bluetooth, etc.

The issue when you are running Windows native wireless setup you're wasting memory resources running AC in parallel. I might have to completely switch to Windows setup :( Just not sure what happened when all of a sudden I don't have automatic connection anymore. Nothing else changed, and I could of swear there was an option in AC to enable this but I can't find it anymore...

To be honest, I don't think my system is all that tight on resources and I haven't noticed any tangible battery life difference.. :)

Access Connections is extremely useful if you frequently switch to different connections during the day. I now cannot live without it. :) Try this one and i hope it works in your case: 1) Open AC. 2) choose Tools. 3) Global Settings. 4) in Network tab, mark "Allow Wireless Connection at Windows logon. 5) Restart and see if it works.

i used to have this problem and i did just like that and now it's working the way i want it.
