After using my t61 with dedicated graphics for not quite 2 months I called support and they setup a return to resolve lcd+ screen. Having done that, and waiting to boxup and call DHL for pickup I decided to try using nvidia control panel to fine tune as after reading some similar threads here, I almost think it's 'rolling the dice'. In fact I've heard it could get worst. My ? ..........Anybody willing to throw out their settings to deal with this........I've done the hit/miss trail and error........have to say its got better, even tried using calibration pages off web after goggling. I realize we have different preferences but maybe some type of baseline to start from. Also noticed 'sharpness' toggle doesn't move while others do. ? about that. All advice appreciated.

I don't know if you've used this site,

    http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/,

but what I do is adjust the nVidia settings until I can see each strip of color on the contrast test and also all the black levels and white saturations. I ignore the rest of the tests.

After that, I adjust Adobe Gamma until I'm satisfied (optional). My screen turned out pretty nice after that. I can upload Adobe Gamma (tiny file), but I don't think that's legal.
