I assume the 250410U advance mini doc works with a T60 WS model 8744.
If you have one let me know that it works please.
Also they supply the 90W AC but the 65W is smaller and I have never seen it spike over 65W of use, anyone using a 65W with a WS and X1400 graphics?

Yes the Advanced Mini Doc works. Look here:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-61297
at the bottem there is a link to part numbers and the 250410U is listed there as the American version.
Ther power supply of docking stations are often greater. The docking takes power on top of the laptop. It supplies the USB ports and so on. -
So I believe my question stands. This doc can be out of date. -
To the best of my knowledge they have not updated the docks since the T60s were released. The Advanced Mini Dock comes with it's own power supply. I think it is the 90W version of the adapter. I don't think you are going to have any issues with the x1400.

So ZaZ does it work with a WS T60 do you know? I know the AC for the dock will be 90W, I have two options get another AC or get a Dock and it will come with one.
To my eye the pegs and dock connect look in about the right spots, but no doubt it will at least stick off the right hand side.
I was wondering if anyone has really used the mini dock with a T60 WS.
I suspect the 65W would work fine if I go just another AC, I've not seen it peak over that power, and it is smaller so it might be beneficial to have a small one. I really haven't made up my mind. I would think they might have put a flag in the BIOS not to allow the 65W if they think it would be an issue, which is why I ask if anyone has tried it. All these ACs have a data pin so the comp surely knows what is plugged in and if it will work. -
I can't imagine it doesn't though I have not used a WS T60 in conjunction with a dock.
