    I have lenovo 3000 N100 (0768DDU) with windows XP home Sp3. I found that:

    1. If the cpu fan works before the reboot, booting the laptop without AC plugin, cpu fan will work if I load the CPU with Core2MaxPerf. After the CPU temp reach above 55 C, the CPU Fan spins.

    2. If the cpu fan works before the reboot, booting the laptop with AC plugin, cpu fan will not work if I load the CPU with Core2maxPerf. The CPU temp reaches above 100 C, the CPU fan still not spins. Even I reboot without AC plugin, the cpu fan will not work. However, if I spin the CPU fan by hand, the CPU fan will spin continuously.

Any one has same problem? How to fix the problem? Any ACPI driver from lenovo can fix the problem?

    Thanks.
