for W500, I have two disks 64GB SSD and 160GB 7200RPM, i was wondering would any of the disks acts faster if i put it inside the internal disk place or in the ultrabay in the CDROM place ?
Thanks

I believe the new ulltrabay is now SATA, so it shouldn't make a difference. Although I think that SSD in the internal bay would be the best.

unfortunately it wont fit with shock rubbers as per my post http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=335084

The shock rubbers fit fine on the SSD in my T400. I also have the OCZ SLC 64 GB Sata II(rebadged Samsung) and the shock rubbers fits.

Related question and didn't feel like adding a new thread that will probably be answered in 1 reply.
Will a SATA hard drive operate at or SATA speeds in the ultrabay adapter? Because it seems a better deal for the adapter (if/when I replace my current hard drive or find a cheap one) if it operates faster than USB 2.0, eSATA, or Firewire. -
mine jams in the middle
i can't explain it but will do some pictures and post them to make it clear
any difference for disk in ultrabay or internal?
