I think the T61 are the widescreens so they are T61P it just doesn't say it. Im not sure but I think the 256 nvidia card is only with the 15.4" model?

You might also want to try Newegg, Microcenter or Office Depot. They all carry Lenovo laptops to a certain degree. I think you can still get one on Newegg, but might be more expensive than you would get through Lenovo. Oh yeah, customizing is not an option, at least on Newegg.

    Heres one on Newegg

Yup. If you want a great deal then you might have to wait a while till the new ones start coming down in price. If you don't want/can't wait you can pay more and get the new T and W series and you are getting the newest machine on the block.

I just got off the phone with a rep that said the t61p graphic card is on back order for a long time. He also said that the x200 came out in march and hasnt had a promotional code yet.. so honestly when do you think we will start seeing codes for the new models or a decrease in price.. Because I am looking to get the w500 like in the next week unless i hear other wise

I think it will be quite some time and even if a few small deals trickle in, I don't think you will get the kind of deals as were being offered on the T61p before the models were updated. Not to mention that the W500 is their top model.
