What is your battery life like, currently i am on a dell vostro 1400, and want to get a lenovo because i like the design. Im contemplating just going with integrated video graphics on the R61 but i still want to know what the Battery life is like with the Quadro.

my dell gets between 4.5-4.75 hours MAX with a 8400gs.

With the 140m and a 6 cell battery I get a tad over 3 hours MAX. Never actually tested it though.. If you got a 9cell and ultrabay battery you could probably do better then 4.75 hours. T6x models are not known for their battery life.

You can probably do 4.5 hours with a 9 cell battery

^yea but depending on the T61 model (i.e. widescreen versions), you can't buy more than a 7-cell battery.
I have a 6-cell battery and I get around 3 1/2 hours battery life. I generally keep my screen brightness at the lowest (which is too bright for me in some settings actually), only word processing and internet browsing, using windows xp (clean install) rather than vista that came with it.
If battery life really matters get a 7 cell + 3 cell ultrabay + 6 cell to swap but that's not worth the hassle/money imo.

Other laptops like the X61 can get u around 9 hrs of battery life so...
