I have a X60s.
I put a microfiber in between the LCD and the keyboard. But I still see the mark from the trackpoint and the mouse buttons.
anyone else has this problem?
does it happen on T61/R61? is this because X60s doesn't have roll cage in the lid?
-
I don't see it on my X61s, but I haven't really put a lot of pressure on the lid yet.
-
me neither.
I bought the booq case for it. I treat it really gentle
it bothers me, so much. -
is T61 much more rugged than X series?
I want something that I can simply toss around without worrying about it. -
-
The entire X series case is magnesium allo. An internal roll-cage is unecessary because of the small size of the x series. Both are built to withstand the test of time.
-
Then why the trackpoint and mouse buttons will leave marks on the LCD??
-
anyone see this on T60?

I bought a piece of microfiber and put it in between my LCD and keyboard. do you think the keyboard will scratch my screen? I am still seeing the mark though.
do you think I should go with shaggymac? any difference? -
doubt post, triple post.

I see the imprint of my keys after I carry my laptop in my bag only when I need to take it somewhere. I guess it is form the pressure. But If I clean the screen and gently press the lcd near the marks they go away.

I get a small imprint on the screen as well if I put some pressure on it. This only happens with the Soft Rim cap though due to it being taller than the other caps/nipples.
anyone has mark from trackpoint and mouse button on your screen?
