If you don't use your blu-ray drive that much, I would suggest putting the HDD in the ODD slot with a caddy. My temps on my HDD haven't been past 45c with SSD + HDD setup. SSD max temp while in the main slot is 44c while gaming.

My mSATA SSD gets the hottest at 51c max during gaming. But that is within operating temperatures.

Its not that hard to do. The toughest part would be getting the Bezzle off of the blu-ray player. There are a few guides around that could help you out. It really is probably the best solution for HDD temps, but if you aren't confident in messing with the guts of your notebook, I wouldn't suggest trying it. You might be able to have a local computer shop help you out if you provide them the parts.

Apart from that, I guess you can prop up the back of your laptop to give it some room to breathe. make sure you don't cover up the vents if you do. Your temps may or may not stay about the same though.
