Just out of curiosity, how long have you had your battery? How many cycles has it gone through?

In either case, you can get a new keyboard from them by ordering. I don't believe that it costs too much. You can buy a battery from eBay or Lenovo themselves. eBay is less expensive of course.

Also make sure to read the Battery Guide so you can prolong your battery's lifespan as long as possible.

If nothing else, you can get a new keyboard (your choice of the three manufactures) from IBM spare parts. They're not very expensive either (like, 30-40 USD). Just call the main Lenovo number and the spare parts department is one of the options in the list.

I'm not sure if a keyboard replacement would be covered under warranty but you could always give it a shot. The battery may be fine and just need to be calibrated to get the proper runtime. If that doesn't help, it's still under the quoted cycles for the battery lifespan, and it's not been a year yet, then they may replace it under warranty if it's determined to be defective.

    :EDIT:
Just saw the cycle count. Yep, with that many charge cycles it looks like the battery is just nearing the end of it's lifespan. Might still be a good idea to try calibrating it, but the runtime of about an hour sounds pretty close to what it should be with the kind of use that battery has had.

yet..i decide to calibrating the 6cell one tonight, and hope it works.
9cell bettery with my t61 is a little bit heavy, with my slim bettery just buy for a week , if i can work with 9 and 6 cell both then i don't think 6cell one will died soon...but itz life a little bit too short i thought, lol

    Edit
i have been try to calibrating the 6cell one...it came up with 41.25Wh.but compare with the original captable data, i guess i can use for around 90minutes
