This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     audio on T400 too quiet? solution: new T400 audio driver has an EQ!

    hooray! the new audio driver for the T400 has an EQ... finally i can crank up the volume using the EQ!

    after installing the new driver, an icon listed as "smart audio" with headphones shows up in the control panel. awesome.

    maybe this has been known for awhile, but i haven't updated my audio driver in some time ;)
