Since there is no software included with my notebook, I read elsewhere that I can burn a bunch of CDs for backup software. Can I do the same thing with a USB or jump drive?

So I have this thing now, and am wondering the best way to take care of it...

    Thanks!

try driveimagexml. its easy and works on the fly. you can create an image and backup to anything you want.
