    battery beep/screen flicker

    when i plug into a power source my screen flickers and the computer beeps? brand new t60p, any ideas? how do i stop this?

    The same thing happens to me. I can't find a setting to change the screen flicker, however there is one for the battery.

    Open the Power Manager and choose the Global Power Settings tab. Under "Power management options" you'll see the option "Beep when power state changes". Uncheck that box and the beep should stop.
