I'm using my t60 with mini dock at home. When I'm not taking the notebook out with me for a longer time, the battery is slowly discharging. After a week of using, power manager is showing me 97%. The AC cable is always plugged in. Should I worry about the battery?

How long does the battery last when not plugged in?
-
Power manager won't begin re-charging your battery until it hits 95% so this is probably just indicative of a gradual loss of charge from just sitting around.
-
Are you keeping the laptop constantly on A/C power with the battery still in the machine? I've heard that removing the battery while on A/C prolongs life, although I would fear the clip mechanism/clasp becomming loose after repeated removal & re-installation.

Battery lasts 3,5-4 hours, wifi and bt on.
Yes, it runs constantly on AC and the battery is in. Maybe I should remove it and after some time check if it is discharging anyway. -
You have nothing to worry about. In order to make the charging of your battery more efficient, there is a set charge-level where the notebook will top-off your battery (let's say 95%
.
Li-Ion batteries will self-discharge even when not in use, so that is what you are experiencing. For more information on the topic and for some care and maintenance tips, please read the battery guide. -
Do most modern laptops do this or only Thinkpads?
-
thanks a lot for the replies.. now I know there's nothing to worry about

Most laptops.
I will also suggest that you be careful when removing the battery, I've had a clip break on me doing this. Lenovo replaced it for free but it was still disappointing -
I believe all Li-ion batteries do this and, since most notebooks use Li-ion batteries, I would expect most notebooks to do this.
