Is this normal? When my put my computer on sleep the battery level is 76 when I use it the following day it is 69. Is my battery dying? Thanks

Yes it's normal. When in sleep mode, a little power is used to keep the contents of ram refreshed. If you don't want to use any battery power, use Hibernate instead. Contents of ram are written to disk instead and the system powers off completely. Resuming from hibernate takes a little longer though, as data from the disk has to be read back in to ram.

Of course if like me and others hibernating also drains power for some reason. Apparantly connected to if you hibernate when the AC plug is attached but still, it does drain charge and something to watch out for.
