Any idea's best place to go?

Ebay has some that arn't official lenovo products should I get one of those cheap?

Or get a real one on ebay?

Don't go for the cheaper generic batteries; they have a high rate of failure and defects. Wherever you choose to buy from, purchase genuine batteries.

Yes, official batteries are expensive, but they're very much worth it. Locate the FRU# on your current 8-cell and google (or eBay) that number and sort through until you find the lowest price.

    Good luck.
