    Hey guys,

I was wondering where I could get the largest discount buying the T430 laptop, I've checked out visaperks so far, and haven't really found anything better, seeing that Barnes and Noble isn't available for Canadian customers.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know before I make my purchase

I believe visa perks still gives you a cheaper price than that. The CAXDISCOUNT code only takes off like 10%

    Yeah, quite possible.
Lenovo friends site is hit and miss with discounts.
The system in my sig was $1300 at Boxing week sale.

    Good luck getting a deal.

I'd wait a bit if I were you. The W520 in my signature was $1089.63 or something like that and I got it 4 weeks after the release of the W520.

The RAM stick you've linked in the previous post would work, but you should test if its faulty when you receive it. To test for issues with the RAM, burn a copy of memtest86+ ( here) and boot into it. There are 2 DIMMs, thus you can upgrade your RAM up to 16GB (~$102 CAD here).

Would the T430 be compatible with both 1600MHz and 1333MHz RAMs?

    Thanks
