    I have the samsung ssd with Lenovo label on it.

    the ssd is experiencing extreme stuttering and almost too slow to boot.

    I tried to boot with gparted and ubuntu. It doesn't seem to be working.

    I didn't write the above iso images on CD/DVD but I did it on a USB.

    You can try HDDErase 3.3 which has a Secure Erase feature. I think you need to load these files on a USB stick and then boot from there to initialise the program.
